Hi there! My name is Gynti Pinon. I’m a Christian Health and Wellness Coach with a passion for helping people optimize their health using biblical holistic approaches so they can fulfill their divine purpose for the kingdom of God.
I’ve spent the majority of my adult life as the caregiver of my very medically complex family who dealt with a variety of severe chronic health issues until they passed away at home on hospice with me caring for them until the end—my mother, husband, and daughter (who had special needs and was medically fragile).
During these years, I gained a great deal of varied experience with traditional medicine practices. We had many wonderful doctors who worked very hard to provide good medical care, but I found it frustrating that the medications and treatments only temporarily managed symptoms but but did not address the root cause or change the outcome. In a sense, the treatments only prolonged their suffering as their quality of life declined.
While my daughter’s condition was a degenerative neurological disorder that she was born with, my husband’s and mother’s issues could have been turned around with early intervention and a biblical holistic approach to natural healing.
Knowing this, I have set out to help those who are willing to make the necessary changes to turn their health and lives around in order to enable them to do all that God has called them to do and to feel well doing it.
In addition to caring for my family members who had life-ending conditions, I also have a son who has special needs. He was born with a rare neurological disorder and cerebral palsy. Additionally, he deals with emotional trauma issues which have resulted in severe anxiety, panic attacks, and aggressive meltdowns.
Besides being his mom, I am also his full-time caregiver and advocator. My experience with his unique issues has given me a deep understanding, compassion, and the ability to provide biblical holistic strategies to help with trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, and depression. These can go hand-in-hand with more traditional approaches as needed.
I have a great deal of personal experience dealing with long-term caregiver health issues related to stress and exhaustion—physical, emotional, and spiritual—that come with the territory, as well as with death and grief, including anticipatory grief. These are subjects that many people do not want to talk about but are very important. How one copes with these situations is absolutely related to their general health and wellbeing.
Without my faith in God, his marvelous sustaining grace, and my personal commitment to taking care of my own health as best as I could in the hardest of times, I very likely would not have survived or at least would have developed life-limiting health issues myself. Even so, my health did suffer greatly but is improving daily at this time.
On a more personal note: I have two additional adult sons with families of their own. They have blessed me with a combined total of six delightful grandchildren. They all make me proud and bring me so much joy!
Some fun details: I live in a small town in Texas and have a little flock of chickens and a couple of geese that keep me company and bring me a great deal of joy and many delicious, healthy eggs. I am a delightfully crazy chicken lady! LOL
My nickname is Goose, and many of my friends and family lovingly refer to me as Mama Goose. Perhaps the most unique thing about me is that I’m also a tuba player! I love sitting down and blowing my big ole horn, and this past year I added in a shofar too!
